The Reason for the Pain

I went to my Euro-Gyn today for the 3rd time. The last time I went he put a camera in my bladder (not recommended as past-time entertainment).
Today he told me I have Interstitial Cystitis. It's a non-curable disease of the bladder.
I also have Endometriosis in the bladder, as presumed.
So no wonder for all the pain!!
Now I have 3 more meds to add to my daily routine of medications. Not sure if I can afford them so it just may have to sit on the back burner along with my Acid Reflux meds. I'm pretty darn sure I'm getting an ulcer because of the untreated Reflux. The pain is getting more intense than I care to admit.
The bladder disease I have is incurable and will need to be operated on in the future. He told me they don't know what causes it or if it's inherent but that those who have Hypothyroidism and Endometriosis tend to get it, but not always, they're just linked somehow and they don't know how.
Pretty much my bladder can't hold as much as a normal persons, I'm more inclined to frequent infections and I can't go see my reg doc for those, I have to be tested via catheter YIPEEEEE!!!!!
The disease explains the pain I have, and it's pretty narly pain. Certain foods and drink aggravate it as well, and the list is kinda big of foods and drinks to avoid. Not sure if I'll be able to stick to that. A couple of the things on the list are lemons and tomatoes. I LOVE these two foods!!!
Anyway, I could go into detail on what this disease entails and what it's done to my bladder but instead I'll just provide a link for y'all to read yourselves.
He didn't remove the Endometriosis from my bladder because he said it wasn't necessary. It does cause pain so whatever.
Okay so click on the words above to see what they're about to understand me, k?

Also, another interesting thought. I'm really kinda grateful that Tyler's truck broke down when we were together and during the day because if not it would've broken down while Tyler was at work! That's in the middle of the night and his phone doesn't work. He'd be completely stranded and there wouldn't be a store open to help. It would've been BAD. So that was a blessing! It had to happen regardless, so thank God that it happened when and where it did!

Okay now back to "mothering" my sinus and ear infections and sore throat and aching belly

To Keep You Up (cuz I KNOW you're dying of curiosity) lol

Well, so, I'll give an update although I've been putting it off for a while waiting to put on here any GOOD news for a change.
Not much good has happened, quite honestly, but I'll try to note the positive things first, k? :)
Tyler's doing excellent in school. I'm so proud of him! He truly has found his niche. It's great. All the years of hard work and major struggling is paying off in his good grades. It's REALLY lifted his self esteem and confidence. My smart Tyler is really blooming and I ALWAYS knew it was in him! Sure some thought I was too hard on him, but I KNEW he was there. He just hesitated too much, doubted himself, etc. But now he has no need to doubt himself. He just is awesome. :)

I'm proud of myself for keeping my kitchen CLEAN! Yay! A clean kitchen makes me feel so happy. Oh, and I'm also now officially hired by my sweet sister-in-law Alicia to clean her house for her. She's pregnant and soooooo sick the poor girl!! She's quite the trooper and almost never complains but is just more sick than I think I could ever handle! I wish my bro would get his bum in gear and help her out more. I'm a little disappointed in his unhelpful attitude. I want to pay him a piece of my mind LOL. Perhaps he's suffering from depression. That I can understand.

I also got a part-time job!!! YAY!!!!!!! I guess that's really good news, eh?
I get 8 an hour with max 15 hours I can work a week. So far I've only been able to squeeze in 6 hours a week. I know that sounds pathetic, but it's hard to work when the girls are all around me and Tyler has to study for school and the house needs cleaning or the yard needs watering or I'm having a bad period (which is the case right now HAHAHA).
I am technically called the Marketing Director. It's for Women in Business Magazine. It's an excellent magazine and I need to sell advertisement spaces in it!! ANYBODY, PLEASE, ADVERTISE WITH THEM!! I get commission off of it and that's our only hope of help right now financially. Anyway, the prices are very reasonable and I can make almost any deals I want or discounts. It goes to 10,000 people in Utah County and it's a free magazine. It's mailed to them. So it's like one of the most effective ways to advertise. It's a great magazine. Even my mom likes it :). www.WBMagazine.org
Okay, so that's what I'm doing right now.
I just need to get out and go solicit business in the area and what-not. Anybody have businesses they know of that could be interested? You can just pass along the info and I won't tell them who sent it if you don't want me to.

Sophie's been sick the last couple of days. Fever, throwing up, being tired, all that. She just woke up now and it's 4am. UGH!! Tyler and I are both up. He was doing homework and I was catching up with things online.

I'm going to go see a Uro-Gyn. That's a specialist that's in Urology & Gynocology. I'm sooooo not happy to see a man AT ALL. I'm so against men doctors doing women things. It just really grosses me out and freaks me out so bad!!! I've had bad experiences with two docs so I have ligit reasons to be freaked out of them. I think they're all perverts. Period. You can't convince me otherwise so don't even try.
Okay, anyway, I'm going to see this guy cuz my midwives don't know what to do for me or my reg doc (who I can't see anymore anyway cuz I can't pay the man). I have been having MAJOR pain when I go potty. Like BAD pain. Like it feels like my insides are ripping out when I go. Perhaps it's just a really bad pulled muscle, but whatever it is it HURTS. I've been tested a couple of times and one time there was blood but no infection and another time infection and another time just minerals. Okay, I was tested 3 times lol. I can't count at 4 in the morning! :)
Anyway, then another thing that's kinda bothering me. Perhaps it's my diet, or my endometriosis is causing all of these problems, which is very likely, but I go from diarreah to constipation. And it's BAD. Like I cannot go at all and I sit there. And the stomach pain is sooo awful. SO bad. I feel soooo sick. The pain is a mixture between feeling like I have the stomach flu with diarreah pain to gas to cramps and to some other feeling I haven't felt before. So I have no idea what's going on.
I've been putting off telling anyone these problems just cuz I always have so many. And it's so tiring to hear about, I know.
I know a lot of people don't even care and are really calloused and like to think that they'd handle these problems better than I do so I just don't like talking about it sometimes cuz I don't want heartless, cold people around me to make fun of me (which I've been told happens when I write blogs). I want loving, supportive people.
But most importantly, I want ANSWERS and SOLUTIONS!!!
I'm really really really really tired of getting fatter and fatter and FATTER all the time!! And not just fatter, but everything else. My thyroid is screwing up again. It's going more and more hypo, AGAIN, and I'm getting harrier and harrier and losing all the hair on my head. I'm SOOOOOOO UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously!!

OH GREAT. Lacie just threw up right now!!!! oh man. WE DON'T EVER EVER GET A BREAK!!!!! It's over and over and over again. one thing after another.

you know I was praying about this CRAP that we go through and you know the answer I got? WE ARE REQUIRED TO GO THROUGH IT. Just like when you're required to take a final to get your final grade, or required to pay your taxes, or required to put gas in your car in order to drive it. Something like that. WE HAVE to go through this. So we just have to endure.
But Heavenly Father did not say we have to do it alone.
That's why we have family, and friends. And thanks to Heavenly Father we have some good family and LOTS of really good friends. :)
You can't pick the fam but you can pick your friends and sometimes you can pick some family to be your friends! hee hee. And we have. (we love you guys so much!).

So anyway, I didn't have a period for two months and was in LOTS of pain. I finally started my monthly joy last weekend (Friday I think) and it's still going strong. Like I'm talking having to change every single hour. It's AWFUL. Tyler wants me to go to the ER tomorrow cuz it's so bad. And it's not letting up. It's getting worse.
SOMEONE PLEASE FIX ME!!!!

*sigh*
I just feel like sobbing right now. I'm sooooo tired. Tired of everything.

One more thing. A nosey neighbor called the police on me.
Why?
Because they assumed I lock my girls outside and won't let them back into the house!!!!! Isn't that AWFUL???
I was sitting on my lawn chair when two cop cars pulled up and said a neighbor called and said I NEVER watch my kids and I ALWAYS lock them out and they'll be banging on the door crying to come in and I won't let them. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??? I was SHOCKED. Either Tyler or I are ALWAYS out there with them!!!!
I was more than pissed. I was FURIOUS. So mad that I went to two separate neighbors to ask if they called. Of course both said no.
But Tyler's 100% sure it was the ones across the street. Nosey people that they are. I am soooo mad about this and so is Tyler so we're not letting our girls play with that kid of theirs anymore unless we can see everything that's going on. This mother across the street told Lacie that I should be watching her and not Tyler.
I mean I had to give Sophie a bath cuz she peed her panties and that was FIVE MINUTES and Lacie went back outside and she called the cops. OH MY GOSH.
I HATE this place. :(
The cops were embarrassed to have been called out. They said it was a waste of their time but the have to when someone calls, esp about children. They saw me sitting out there watching my girls and were like, "uh, you obviously are watching your kids". DUH you think? lol

Okay, there's the latest update.

I hope I figure out what the heck is wrong with me before I get too heavy that I'll need bipass surgery and have heart disease and not be able to have any more kids and have a body of a 50 or 60 yr old instead of the 30 yr old. Cuz frankly what I'm going through shouldn't be happening to someone as young as I am.

Oh, it's my birthday next week. I'm going to be so old lol. At least I FEEL super old. (read above for why that is).
I want something pleasant and nice and sweet to surprise me on my birthday. Anything to cheer me up!!! :(

MeEeEee :)

So I went to the doctor today. I love my doctor! He's the best ever!! I've seen so many doctors and he's so smart and LISTENS and EXPLAINS things and is so good.
So I went today for this little bump/spot on my forehead. I had my brother in law look at it who's pretty much a P.A. now and he said to get it checked.
It's been buggin me and growing super super fast. Well, faster than I would expect a spot to grow. LOL!
It's not very big but it is very noticeable. It's reddish and very raised and growing out in two directions and it scabs over every other day and sometimes it itches. It's just really irritating and I don't like people looking at it. That bugs me.
Also I've had this nagging cough for a while now. Ever since I was really sick with Influenza.
Okay so he looked me over and said I have
Walking Pneumonia and I probably have Basal Cell Cancer.
Great, huh?
Yep, I, Lisa, get NO breaks where health stuff is concerned!
So I have a couple of medications to take for the Pneumonia. One is an antibiotic and the other is a cold medicine to help me sleep at night.
And on Monday I go back to have this spot/bump taken off my face and biopsied to be sure that's what it is, though the doc is like 98% sure it is.
I also have a
Magnesium deficiency, probably, that's been causing my paralysis and muscle spasms and contractions, weakness and delayed relaxation. So I have to take Magnesium. Not a biggie, just another pill to add to my daily stash. hahaha!!
So read the links I inserted here to know what these are exactly and they'll explain it pretty good.
Love to you all! Oh, and I am NOT having a pity party.

Lacie had a mole... and my 2nd Sleep Study

Current mood: exhausted
So last night my Sleep Study SUCKED!!!
I could NOT sleep for the life of me! I got MAYBE 3 hours of sleep and woke up every 10 min during that time. Then at 3 am I woke up and stayed wide awake the rest of the night. They unhooked me at 5:30 instead of 6:30. Then, Tyler forgot to come pick me up and he had his stupid phone off! So I had to WALK HOME!! I was soooo mad! I got home freezing cold (walked in my PJ's!! in the 20's) and then unlocked the door and Sophie was sitting on the couch and Tyler was laying on the floor next to the portable heater (since our heater is broken). I didn't say one word to him cuz I was so mad. I got Sophie and carried her up to our bed and finally went to sleep at about 7:30 or 8:00 and slept until 10:30ish. I AM SOOOO TIRED!!!!
The CPAP machine helped my oxygen levels stay in the 90's except whenever I moved it would plummet. I have no idea why, either. Weird, huh?
It was nice having that air, though. It felt SO DIFFERENT being able to breath!! lol
I won't find out the restults of that for 5-7 days now, they said. So we'll just see. Man these medical bills are going to murder us!

Oh, we got sued again. The 3rd time now. This time from a medical billing collection. Lovely eh? Pisses us off! They don't give us a break! Tyler's hours got cut a LOT so yeah, there's no way to get around any of this. It sucks!

Anyway, about Lacie now.
She's had this mole on her head since she was a baby. It started really small and got bigger and bigger until it was as big or bigger than a pencil eraser, which we know is the size when it needs to be looked at. Tyler took her to the dermatologist this morning and just in the last while it's been growing irregularly and getting jagged edges and being sensitive. So the doc removed it and scraped it clean and put a liquid bandage on it. I'm glad he didn't have to shave any hair off. I was worried about that.
The doc said she was better than most adults are!! lol That's my Lacie!! He's going to have it biopsied cuz it concerned him. He said if it's positive for Carcinoma or Melanoma then they'll have to surgically go in and remove a chunk out of her head and sew it back up. YUCKY!!! Poor Lacie!! I hope it's not positive! But that mole was getting kinda scary looking and it concerned us that it irritated her whenever it was touched.

One more thing. Tonight Tyler and I get some time alone!!!! We're going to a Hotel in SLC and going to the dollar movies. I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!!! We got some good deals and get to eat mostly for free. Then tomorrow we're going to Ashley Furniture, Guitar Center and the Cheesecake Factory. Yes we have people (family) watching the girls. Thank heavens for that!!
We have learned to NOT ask certain people to help watch the kids EVER AGAIN because they ALWAYS say no and blah blah blah. It's annoyed me a lot and really ticked Tyler off. So we have my inlaws taking them all day on Saturday (THANK YOU!!!!) and my brother and his wife and my other little brother coming over at night. So they'll be safe and well taken care of. I'm sure they'll miss us. I'm MORE sure Sophie will miss me!! That's why she was sitting on the couch this morning was cuz she was up most the night waiting for me to come home!!! How sad, eh??

Oh, when Tyler came home this morning from Lacie's appointment he surprised me with long stem red roses!!! And a Valentine's and Anniversary card. It was so sweet. He felt so bad for making me walk. I hope I can laugh about it later but right now I'm just too tired to be mad anymore or think it's funny, either.

Until next time, chau!!! Love ya!!

Another One!

So I went to the dentist today. I had two teeth worked on and one of them was really really close to being a root canal but luckily didn't do it. We'll see how it holds for now to decide if I'll need one or not.
They had to numb me up three different times!! My body soaks up anesthesia like a dry sponge. Dead serious! When I had my babies I'd have to have my epidural adjusted and fixed several times.
And in surgery the last time I woke up in the middle of it. I don't remember any pain or hearing anything or feeling anything else, just a nurse behind my head looking down at me with a mask on and a hat that covers the hair. Then she put something over my mouth and that's it.
My gums and jaw hurt and my teeth, too, now. They're giving me a migraine.

So I got a call from an associate of my Neurologist today. He called to tell me Dr Taher ordered a Sleep Study since my oxygen test went really bad. In other words, I failed miserably. Ha ha. No surprise there! When I was AWAKE and looked at the machine my oxygen was 85 and my heart rate 50. So yeah, not super good. It would explain A LOT if I have
Sleep Apnea.

So tonight the girls went to Michelle's for the night (great break for us. They kept us up all night last night!!) and we babysat Kristen & Kevin's little kids. I LOVE new babies!! Made me so baby hungry taking care of that little newborn! It feels so natural to care for a tiny baby. Even Tyler loved it. It was cute seeing him with that new baby and cuddling her and taking care of her. She's such a pretty little baby.
Anyway, so since our babies are gone tonight we got to go see a movie! An early Valentine's date thing for us. We went to see "
Taken". It was such a super super cool movie!! It got an applause by most everyone in the theater! It was FULL. We had to sit in the very front and the screen was HUGE but it was so worth going! It was go go go through the entire movie. Never boring and very interesting and educational, too. We totally recommend it!!!

Okay, then also I'm going to be starting Clomid. I got my prescription and how it works is taking it on the 5th day of my cycle through the 9th, then doing "the thing" every other day from day 10-20. If we don't get pregnant this month she gave me like 3 refills. Kinda nice. I guess we'll see if this does the trick, eh?

Oh, and Tyler got me Guitar Hero World Tour!!! Just the 1 guitar, but hey, I'm so excited to play it!! Yipee!! I LOVE tax return season!!!

okay, so that's my "another one" update for y'all.

A Little Update

So I went to see my midwife today and it went fairly well. I'm NOT pregnant, (surprise surprise), even though I'm like almost 2 months late now.
They're testing me for polycystic something or other that's an ovarian deal. Just another thing to accompany my endometriosis I guess in keeping me from getting pregnant. I won't be surprised to have it since I have all the signs of it and even have had a cyst rupture in the past and made me bleed all over the place in two places. IT SUCKED!!
She did a couple other blood tests, too, and a couple results will be in tomorrow and the others on Monday. So we'll see how that goes.
Otherwise I get to start Clomid after my next period starts, and if it doesn't start they'll give me Progesterone or something like that to make me have it.
Clomid an a fertility drug and can increase my chances of having multiples. I'm SURE I won't get pregnant with 8 babies, though, like that one lady! haha.
I'm feeling a lot better since being on medication for my migraine's and it's actually helped me with my body aches! It's nice. My thyroid is finally evened out and staying at the same points!
Only deal is I keep gaining weight. I have been doing excersize and watching what I eat (no junk food at all) and I'm still gaining.
Apparently two of the medications I'm on make me gain weight, so there you go. I have TWO things working against me there.
Okay, that's it for now. At least what I can remember! haha

Lacie broke her arm!!!!!!!

My poor little Lacie (the 5 yr old) broke her arm!!! This is the SECOND time
but on the OTHER arm!
The first time was due to her daddy pushing her in the
Home Depot parking lot at top speed while she stood in the basket (against her
mother's wishes) instead of being seat belted in!
Tyler took a corner a bit
too fast and Lacie went flying out of the cart, head first, onto the black top.
She suffered a severe concussion and broke both bones in her left fore-arm. Like
a BAD break! Luckily the bones didn't come out the skin, but her arm was like
jello! She didn't cry a single tear!
So, tonight we'd gotten back from
Kadie & Tony's after having loads of fun watching the first Tomb Raider and
watching the guys play their Gran Turismo 4 game on the PS2, eating a delicious
dinner made by Kadie and eating some disgusting donuts brought by me, and got
the girls in their jammies and we were about ready to say family prayer when the
girls got wild and ran upstairs and started jumping on our bed (that's a no-no)
and giggling and laughing hysterically while Tyler and I talked downstairs for a
couple minutes about his history test he was about ready to start when we both
heard this loud BANG and then a few moments later a very freaked out and
panicked cry from Lacie. "Uh oh! That doesn't sound good!" So Tyler ran up there
and I walked (there's LOTS & LOTS of drama in this house with three girls
hee hee so I didn't realize it was an emergency) and Lacie was crying more from
being frustrated that we weren't up there right when it happened. She accused
me, while sitting at the top of the stairs cradling her right arm, "mom! You
were supposed to be there to catch me when I fell!!" Isn't that just the most
ironic and saddest thing??
Aren't parents supposed to be there when we fall
to catch us? That's what parents are for, right? No, I'm NOT feeling guilty cuz
it was totally not my fault, but I sure thought about that a little when she
said that. Anyway, I felt soooo bad!!
She said, "I broke it! I broke my arm!
I broke the bones inside of my arm". I held her arm and her hand and they were
very loose and weak and wobbly. I KNEW it was broken just by the feel of it.
Last time she broke her arm (when she was 2 1/2) I had to hold her broken arm
then and it was grotesque!! But I know the feeling of a broken bone and I knew
it was this time, too.
I held her in the car (I know that's a big no-no, too)
and we hurried to Orem Community Hospital ER with poor Sophie crying in her
carseat the entire time. She was totally confused and freaked out, poor little
thing!
I called my parents and they and Josh hurried down from Lehi where
they met us in our ER room. Now get this. Lacie was perfectly CALM. She was just
fine! No crying, totally collected and reasonable and talkative, even started to
move her arm and hand around a bit and wiggle her fingers. The nurse-chick comes
in to check her.
Now if any of you have ever brought your kids to the
doctor's or the ER for stuff like this they HAVE to check for signs of abuse. I
am so glad they do this!! There are so many reported cases of children coming in
with broken bones and bruises and the parents try to hit it off as some stupid
freak child accident when in fact THEY did it to their own children!! Pisses me
off royally!
So they checked all her bones for any other possible breaks,
checked her head since she did bang that pretty hard on the wall, checked the
back of her neck in case she hurt it from banging her head, and checked for
bruises and for a fever.
She DOES have a fever. 100.6! So they tested her
for strep. Luckily she got over that, but we figure she has the flu cuz the when
the nurse asked where she hurt she said EVERYWHERE! hahaha.
When the nurse
asked her how bad her pain was and showed her little smiley-face pictures for
kids to see Lacie pointed at the #10 one!! Well, outwardly there was NOOOOO WAY
of knowing she hurt that bad!!! But she was pretty darn adament about that #10
being her worst pain!
So, the nurse was thinking Lacie was being dramatic,
my parents did, and Tyler and I wondered, too, because she really CAN
be.
They all decided they didn't think it was broken. They ordered x-rays
and she got pushed in a wheel chair. When the x rays were all done (she held
perfectly still) the radiologist had this little smile on his face and didn't
say a word. I was like, "hmmm".
Then the doc came in before he saw the x rays
and evaluated her himself and said he didn't think it was broken because she was
acting like everything was just honkey-dorey, besides saying where it hurt. Then
he went out and looked at the x rays and came back in.
His face!!
hahaha!
He was completely shocked!! He said, "well, she's right! She knows
it's broken because it is!"
She broke BOTH bones in her right fore-arm. Not
as bad as she broke the left arm 2 1/2 years ago, but bad enough! He was sooo
surprised! She broke it pretty good, he said. She had to have landed on that arm
really hard. And judging by the break he said she had to have landed on the palm
of her hand which took the brunt of her fall.
He'd asked before if she felt
the bone break and she said Yes. He kinda had smirked at that, but now he knew
she knew exactly what she was talking about!
My Lacie is no
dummy!!
And, she takes after her mother having and EXTREMELY high tolerance
to pain!! Although mine has worn off A LOT hahaha.
This little girl of
ours is amazing. I'm not bragging or exagerating, but she's near
perfect.
She's extremely brilliant. She's so mature. She's so special and
unique. She really is my angel!
It was a MIRACLE that I got pregnant with
her. Totally a shock! Not only was I NOT supposed to be able to have kids but I
was on birth control, too! I KNEW she wanted to come here and I could feel her
spirit before we even got married that she was in a big hurry to get here. I got
pregnant with her right after we got married. That very same month!! She was the
most PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT baby anybody could ever hope for or wish for or
dream for. Ask anyone who knew her. She was flawless.
She even won all the
baby pageants we put her in!! hahaha. She won everyone's heart.
She still
does, when she doesn't get all dramatic! lol
Anyway, she's doing so
bravely right now. She's knocked out on Lortab on our couch, silently
sleeping.
No crying or whimpering or complaining. Just being perfect, like
herself. :)
If anyone wants to come see her this week PLEASE PLEASE DO!!!
She LOVES people (just like her mommy does) and LOVES visitors! And LOVES LOVES
LOVES CHOCOLATE!!! :)
So if anyone feels like coming to spoil my little
girl please do, k? I'm not begging for a hand-out, just thinking about what
would make her happy. I'm sure she'd love to tell her arm-breaking story over
and over and over again like she does about her first arm-breaking experience!
lol
She'd especially love to see any of her friends! Okay, I'm
babbling cuz it's late and I'm super super tired and love-struck by my amazing
daughter.

MRI & Nerve Test & Sick Girlies!

So today I had my tests I've been waiting for. I was going to have to wait until next week for the stress test but my doc got me in today. That was pretty narly.

It was NOT what I expected! It was so weird!! Cuz sometimes I like weird things parts of it I liked and it made me giggle, but other parts were not so fun.

What they do is stick these little monitors on and a mini ultrasound machine and skinny, long, pins or needles inside the muscles/nerves and metal clips and SHOCK you! They do it until the muscles and nerves respond the way they want I guess. My right arm and hand took 3-4 shocks before it'd jerk and hurt and the left arm and hand would take 1-2 shocks, generally. The left arm and hand hurt worse than the right. A couple spots KILLED!! But my right arm and hand kinda tickled and made me giggle. Some of the shocks I kinda liked. Call me demented I guess LOL.

Well, I know there was a difference between the two arms and hands but I can't tell you if it was significant enough or what exactly this test was for. I've never heard of it before and don't know all the reasons for having them for. I know he wanted to see if I have carpal tunnel in my right wrist, but why he'd test both hands and arms on both sides I don't know. I just found it a bit interesting.

Then I had my MRI. It went well. I got copies of my brain hee hee. My sister, dad and I looked at them and Andrea showed me different parts of my brain and stuff. From what I could tell I look just fine everywhere, but I'm not an expert so who knows what to look for, right? Besides my neurologist and the radiologist! haha. So I have to wait, again, for the results. Oh well!! I figure if it's serious enough I'll hear from my Neurologist or my doc sooner than my next appointment, if they get the results before I bring my copies in or not.

Well, my little girlies have Strep Throat! And, Sophie started throwing up today and getting a fever! Poor little girly! So we're gonna stop her omoxycillan (sp) to see if she's allergic to that and then put her back on it to see if it's what's making her throw up. Kinda sucks for her! So she could have the stomach flu on top of strep throat. My poor baby! She catches everything!!

We're still waiting for Tyler's blood work to come back to see if he has mono, too. I would not be surprised at all, unless he's having sympathy pains for me and/or is just plain fatigued nearly to death because of all the stress he's been going through!
His wife is sick, his girls are sick, we keep getting sued and crap and he can't work enough hours and I can't get a job..... the list goes on. Just when he needs good friends to support him some are too busy and others aren't here... it's so sad.

Okay, anyway, so the waiting game is on to hear about my results and Tyler's. I'll keep y'all posted, even if it's just my blog I'm keeping posted LOL.

Update on the Neurologist Appointment, etc

Today was the day of the Neurologist. I'm glad I got to finally go. I was impressed with his waiting room. Big TV, nice comfy couch, pages for the girls to color with a big bowl of crayons, nice staff, quiety atmosphere, nice and clean and clutter-free.
He did a series of regular tests, like my reflexes, how I walk, muscle strength, eyes, etc. After all of that he decided to have me get a nerve test done to see if I have carpal tunnel in my right hand, and a test for my oxygen levels at night to see if I need a sleep-study for Sleep Apnea, and an MRI to see if I've had a stroke. He is currently going to treat me for migraine's, too, so I get to start this medication that treats high blood pressure, too.
I meet with him again in 3 weeks after all the test results are done and to see how the migraine medication works.
Then we took Lacie to her Pediatrician for her 5 yr old child exam. She's measuring really small and petite. She comes by that fairly. Tyler's family is made up of a bunch of really small and petite people. My family is made up of a bunch of underweighties. So there you have it. Small and short. I'm going to tower over my own children. lol
While there Lacie WAS going to get like 4 shots! But her tonsils were swollen as well as her glands. They tested her and she has strep throat!!! Surprise!!! She and Sophie BOTH do!!!! Can you believe it??
When our kids are sick they don't really show it that much. They were saying "my throat hurts" and "I'm sick" but had no fevers and their behavior wasn't any different, so we really couldn't tell!!So they get to start their meds tonight.
Another thing, Lacie is going to have to see a foot specialist. Her pigeon-toedness is not getting better (which I expected it wouldn't) and she'll probably have to wear a brace on at least her right foot. I had the same deal when I was little. Poor Lacie can't stand on that foot alone or hop on it or anything. It's really handicapping her, the poor girl!!!
So there you have it. Our Health update of the day written tonight.

Test results on blood work back, etc

Okay,
So my doctor called me tonight and gave me my blood work results. I have a secondary internal infection apart from a staph infection in my nose and from the mono I already have. We don't know what the internal infection is so I'll have to get more blood cultures to figure that out.

I also have slightly high cholesterol. He said it's low enough that I should be able to maintain it with exercise and diet.

I get to double my acid reflux medication to see if that helps with my stomach pains and apply an ointment in my nose for that staph.

On Tuesday I go to see the neurologist to figure out why I had that temporary paralysis and why I'm so slow and fuzzy and headachey.

On the 26th I go to see the GI about my stomach. Sometime in between seeing the GI and now I need to get blood cultures done.

Frankly, I'm TIRED of all of this. I'm not going to go in and get them done unless I get sicker. Probably foolish, but right now I don't care. I'm way too tired and fatigued and worn out from everything to care right now. If it's bad enough then I figure I'd be in the hospital right now or will end up there. Either way, eh, oh well.

Another thing I'm tired about is having a few select people not take my issues seriously and brush them off. Yeah, that's annoying. Now I just figure oh well, who cares what they think. They're not compassionate or supportive so that's their problem, right?

Okay now back to my boring life of sitting on the couch and trying to squash out the loud and echoing sounds of my screaming children that echo loudly through my head all day long.

What is it NOW???

So I have been having more health issues, AGAIN! I swear it doesn't end!
My stomach still bloats huge when I eat and it hurts so bad! I had some blood work done and an ultrasound which turned up nothing, except Mono! Again!!!
That used to be unheard of, getting mono a second time once you've had it before. But I guess I'm a new case among a few other people like me who had re-flare-ups, according to my doc.

So last week, either Tuesday or Wednesday, I woke with a start at about 10:00am. The girls weren't awake yet (lucky me) so I just got halfway up and leaned onto my elbow getting ready to just get up. I leaned there for just a few moments when all of a sudden I lost ALL muscle! I didn't feel anything, just collapsed! My joints crashed together from the sudden weight of my body and I just layed there. I don't remember everything very well cuz I was kinda out of it, but I remember I couldn't move, I panicked a bit, so I just went back to sleep and slept for another good two hours!!!

Since then I've been really weak, super tired, and kinda "out of it". I don't know if that's from the recurring mono or from whatever it was that caused this "temporary paralysis".

I decided to call my doc's office just to let them know and put it on my file but they said I had to come in anyway. So I went in and my doc was concerned. He said it was either a seizure, a stroke, or a weird passing-out (which he said is unlikely though of course possbile) or some other neurological or heart issue. So, tomorrow morning I have to go back there to get MORE blood work done for potassium levels, my cholesterol to see if it jumped higher again, maybe my mono to see where it's at, and see if I'm anemic among other things. YIPEE.

Then they're scheduling me an appointment to see a gastroenterologist to give me an endoscopy to see if I have an ulcer or something else in my guts. It's probably just super annoying Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which is NOT fun to have and incurable, but not life-threatening at all. They'll also schedule me an appointment to go see a Neurologist to do an MRI and an MRA to see what the heck caused my temporary paralysis. If that doesn't turn up anything then I'll see the cardiologist to see if it has something to do with my heart not getting the blood to my brain like it should, or something else.

So, here we go AGAIN with all my health issues, tests, and racking up our already HUGE medical debt!! None of the options sound nice to me, but I'm hoping it's not something like a stroke, MS, or seizures! Those are all BAD things to have!!

Anyway, I'm really sick and tired and weak right now. If anybody feels like they want to watch the girls for me or do my dishes or laundry or make us dinner then feel free to. hee hee hee!!! :) I know, I'm such a sponge, huh? hahaha

Love to you all!
God bless!
