Nice Day s

So today was a nice day outside.
We thought it was going to be a stormy day but it turned out so nice!

We went to our annual Pearson reunion up in Bear River for a huge BBQ. It was fun just chillin and catchin up with the cousins. Seems like more than half my cousins are having babies!! It's so cool! I'm happy for them. Not jealous, though, which is good I think. I figure it'll happen for us when it's right, ya know?

We got to borrow my inlaw's car. We wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for them letting us use it. It was really nice! We took Trynity with us, Tyler's littlest sister. It really was a nice day.

We visited my grandpa's grave and Tyler's grandpa's grave and my friend's baby's grave. I see these little graves and it just breaks my heart. My cousin's 1st baby's grave is next to my grandpa's and I always go stand by it and feel for my cousin's loss. I also stand next to my aunt's children's graves that are next to my cousin's baby's grave. She had two babies die. It's so sad!! Amelia, Robyn & Andrew were their names.

I finally got myself to go see my friend's baby's grave. It was very hard. I haven't been there since she died last year.
She was just shy of turning 2 years old and was Sophie's "best" friend. I loved that little girl with all my heart. I felt a special bond with her. She would smile at me and laugh at me. I loved holding her.
Poor little Allie got really, really sick while growing in the womb. She lost part of her brain before and after birth. It caused SERIOUS health problems, as you can imagine. It was a shere MIRACLE that she lived to be as old as she was!!!

It was the most difficult things EVER for her parents to let her go, but we all know and the Spirit bore witness to us, that little Angel Allie is happier than ever in Heaven without being enclosed in a diseased and handicapped body anymore.

Seeing her gravesite I did okay at first. They had two of her cutest pictures engraven onto the headstone. Then I noticed the little Jump Rope that her mother (Kristen, one of my very best friends ever) had left on her grave and I thought of the Resurrection and little Allie rising in perfect glory as an almost 2 yr old that she will be, but in perfection, and about her learning to use that jump rope wither mommy and I just couldn't keep the tears in. I bawled and bawled my eyes out thinking of her and missing her and wanting to hold her just one more time!!! And cried about her coming back and my dear friends being blessed to raise her during the Millenium because they have been sealed together as a family that will be together forever.
What an ENORMOUS and great blessing!! And it's available to all who choose to have it and do what's necessary to get it.

I miss little Allie so much. Sophie remembers her and of course Lacie does. Sophie was excited to see her picture and see the little girly toys left at her gravesite by her parents and big brother, Isaac (one of Lacie's best friends).
Lacie got down on her knees in front of the headstone of Allie's and hugged it so tight! She kissed Allie's picture like 3 or 4 times and said she missed her and loved her so much.
I was just crying. I couldn't hold it back. It was so overwhelming.
I didn't realize how much I'm NOT over little Allie's passing. It was like she was my own child, and yet she of course was totally NOT. There's no way I can feel what my friends have felt, but I can surely sympathize, or try to at least, in the best way that I can.

The rest of the day was nice. We dropped off Trynity, Tyler vacuumed out the car we messed up (LOL) and our truck, then we went to pick up some scrap metal to make a couple of bucks off of, and then at home our next door neighbor came over to fix our broken kitchen sink.

The girls are sleeping soundly, Tyler's playing his Black game, and I'm sitting here, of course, and feeling a huge wave of gratitude for all of our blessings and miracles that we have in our lives right now. And so grateful for our many, many good friends and relatives.

This is another day that has passed, and we have one more tomorrow and we'll take them as they come.

Spent the day in the E.R.

Okay so I think a couple of you are curious as to why I was in the Emergency Room all day yesterday.

I've been in pain for about 3 months now when I go potty and sometimes doing other things. Like LOTS and LOTS of pain. It feels like my insides are ripping out when I go.

And my stomach and lower abdomen have been hurting pretty darn bad, too.

I can't go see my reg doc cuz we owe him too much so I went to the E.R.
They gave me anti-nausea medicine, pain killers stronger than Morphin, and a cat scan with dye in my blood and dye I swallowed. It was some NASTY crap!!

The pain meds did something soooo weird to me, though. Besides making me tired and NOT loopy, they hurt my upper abdomen/chest soooooooooo bad!!!!! The pain was awful!! My blood pressure went from 106 to 134 in a matter of seconds after getting the pain meds injected into my IV. WOW it hurt! I could hardly talk and couldn't move. It sucked!

Anyway, the cat scan results came back normal, thank goodness!

What my pain is is from cysts inside and outside my ovaries (which hurt bad in and of themselves) and scar tissue from my surgeries and endometriosis spreading onto my other organs.

So,

I have to have another surgery for my Endo and for the PCOS I have borderline of.

Now I have Lortab to take when needed (thank goodness for that! It barely does much for me, though, the pain is so intense), and I'll need to find a specialist who doesn't want to give me a full hystorectomy but who will help me so I can get pregnant again and feel better.

Okay, time to go help Tyler with the screaming girls! Ugh!! lol

Run-in with a Mexican Gang-banger kid!

It's really not this huge deal, but it was significant enough that I called the cops and am a little freaked out right now.

Lacie was across the street playing when this little boy, about 4 yrs old, picked up a huge branch from the ground and started whipping her with it. She was trying to hit him back but couldn't reach him cuz that darn branch was so long. Anyway he got her face a good whip and she started screaming and crying like Lacie does. That pissed me off so I yelled, like super loud, "DON'T TOUCH HER!!!!" It freaked him out so he took off running home.

Lacie and Sophie came home and I put them in the bathtub.

Right as they were getting in someone pounded on my door good and loud. So I answered it and there was this short stocky Mexican kid, about 16 yrs old I'm guessing, maybe older, fuming.
He told me that his little brother came home crying to him and saying that Lacie had punched him in the face. I'm like no she didn't. I was standing right outside watching the entire thing. He kept arguing with me saying that Lacie was lying and that his little brother was telling the truth.
There were like 20 or so Mexican kids surrounding our townhome this entire time, and, most of the neighbors were outside standing on their porches watching us.

I've got a mouth on me and where my children are concerned I do NOT put up with any crap at all.
I told him that Lacie is my child and I have every right to defend her and take care of her and when I see anybody beating on my kids I'll yell at them if I want to. He was telling me I had no right to yell at his little brother. I said he had no right coming over here to get in my face about it. He's the brother, not the parent. I told him if his parents didn't like any of it they should come talk to me themselves. I made it clear that I speak Spanish and understand their culture.
He was swearing and yelling and threatening me and the girls. Threatening to kick our a%$'s and other things. I told him he's a very bad example to little kids. It's kids like him that end up in and out of jail and that's a bad example. He was yelling this entire time, not making much sense, just using stupid threatening lines that we've all heard in movies, and said, "so what that I've been in jail?" and was grabbing his crotch and flipping me off when he said it and then was calling me swear words in Spanish and in English.
I noticed that he had a group of che's all hanging around where he came from. They'd slowly started to move towards us from across the street. They were gang signing and so was he and swearing and laughing and pointing at our place.

I shut the door and locked it, of course. Then cuz I couldn't get a hold of Ty (he was at school) I called my dad who told me to call the cops, so I did.

Before the cops came I went next door and asked the Mexican girls there about the kids who had caused these problems. The older one that had been threatening me is named Julio, and the younger one that was whipping Lacie is named Diego. Anyway, they told me that Julio has gotten into lots of trouble with the police and is very scary and dangerous.

The cops went around and asked the neighbors about these kids and they all claimed they didn't know him but saw the little fight and sided with Lacie, of course.
The cop told me that this is common cuz they're just looking after their own butts so they don't get into trouble with these gang-bangers.

So now I'm kinda freaked out. This kid did NOT scare me at all. Not even an ounce. But what does make me nervous is what they are capable of doing when nobody is looking. I'm scared for my girls' safety and for our property that's outside that we have no room for in our small townhome. I'm worried that they come shoot our windows out.

Tyler made a good point. Kids like these have nothing to lose and everything to prove so there's nothing to stop them.

I WANT TO MOVE TO A DECENT NEIGHBORHOOD WITH A DECENT PLACE TO LIVE IN!!!!! I'm seriously sick of living like white-trash around people like this!!!!!!!

Another update, AGAIN! :)

So here's another update for y'all, and for me, too.
Right now I have a massive tension headache so excuse me if I ramble or don't make sense or whatever.

My midwife called me back today (our phones have been off all week) and gave me results to my annual and an ultrasound I had done, etc.
I am borderline P.C.O.S. afterall. I have it and all the symptoms, it's just not that severe in my blood, if that makes sense. So to treat it they wanted to put me on birth control pills. A friend of mine was telling me that those are some of the worst things to take for it cuz they could make me never ovulate again!
So I have the two most common causes of infertility: endometriosis and p.c.o.s.
Sucky, eh?
Then my ultrasound results showed enlarged ovaries and tonz of cysts in them. So there's the reason for my bad pelvic pain. No fun!!
They said it's from taking Clomid probably. We'll see, though.
So I have this month and next month to get pregnant and if I don't then I have to either see a Fertility Specialist or start treating my P.C.O.S.

Also, I stopped taking my anti-deppresant anti-anxiety meds and so far I feel SO MUCH BETTER!! I have ENERGY!!!!!!! I feel better getting up, too. It's helped so much having my CPAP machine! And also I started taking Magnesium like 400mg a day. It's helped a HUGE amoutn as well! I used to have muscle spams and cramps SO SO BAD and muscle weakness and tightness. Now I don't nearly as bad. It's great!
Also, since getting off those stupid meds my skin is SOFT again! Instead of dry, bumpy, itchy skin it's smooth and soft and cleared up.

Tyler and my dad gave me a blessing yesterday and it was good. I will feel more pain for a bit but I will be well soon and healthy again. I'm so happy about that! I hope I can start losing weight with this gained energy I have.

I've been more emotional lately, too, but supposedly it's because of the Clomid. It tends to do that. So such is life with female stuff huh? haha

Tyler and I are still getting by miraculously with everything. Thanks to his parents we finally got our cell phones turned back on! YIPEEEE!!!!!

Please pray that Tyler finds a good job, soon, k? We don't care where, just where his school is and it can keep us from getting sued again and again.

Love to you all

Adventures in Walmart

So today was an adventerous day for us to say the least. or just intersting anyway lol.
Here's some T.M.I. to start with, though. I started my "monthly thing" and it's been HORRENDOUS like last month!! Like every hour I'm having MAJOR issues and having to change everything I'm wearing.
Today was also our 4th year Temple Sealing Anniversary. I'm always so excited to get to this day! It's so special to me cuz it marks the day that our family was made into an Eternal one, not just "until death".
Every year we spend the entire day doing things as a family and try to make it fun and special.
We used a gift certificate to eat at I.H.O.P., went to our park for a couple of hours, got ice cream at Arctic Circle, went to RC Willey Outlet in Provo and to Walmart and to see Coraline at Movies 8.
Well, in between one event and the movies I had another "accident" so that's why we went to Walmart.
So I needed to find some panties and pants or something and needed to try them on. Sophie had the shopping cart between us with my purse and the diaper bag. I told Tyler to stay with her so I could find what I needed and try the stuff on.
So I turn and walk away at that.
About 20 minutes or so later I find Tyler with NO SOPHIE! He has Lacie, but not little Sophie! So I ask him where she is and gives me this startled blank stare and says, "I thought she was with you".
UH-OH!! He didn't hear me or spaced it off or something!! lol
So I get all frantic and we split up again and start looking for her.
Mind you this was in the Orem Walmart so it's HUGE!
I look here and there quickly then scurry up to the Service Counter and they like know me on the spot. Must have been the crazy look on my face lol.
"Code Adam. The mother's here" is what the lady says on her radio.
Then she gets the reply that they have Sophie with them over at the bakery.
I hurry over there as fast as I dare and see Sophie standing next to an employee with our cart.
She tells me that Sophie was walking around pushing the cart and just randomly picking things off the shelves and putting them in the cart.
Sophie was completely calm and just gave me a look like, "oh hi mom. I finished the shopping for you".
Talk about mixed emotions!!!!!!!!!
I was so upset and frantic over the thought of losing her and yet happy to see that she's totally fine and I'm the one that got traumatized and not her, and then I try not to laugh at the same time for what she had in the cart!!
There was a can of olives, an apple, cookies, two hershey syrup containers (two different types), Twilight the movie, colored pencils, a huge bag of rolls, some pecan pies, a couple jars of sourcrout I believe, some ramen noodles, fishy crackers, sprite, V8 Fusion, bacon, and several other things I can't remember right now.
She didn't pile it with candy or tonz of kids things or junk. Just stuff she likes and stuff she sees mommy and daddy buying. It was sooooooooooo cute and funny!!!
So I got the cart and she walked with me to find daddy. We both laughed as we rummaged through her collection. Smart little girl!!

Okay, also, I have been baby hungry. It's only recenlty hit me just HOW baby hungry. I see or think of a new baby and I get weepy!!!!! lol
At the hospital today for my ultrasound I walk past the lab and a brand new baby is getting his heel pricked for jaundice and is crying his tiny little eyes out and it makes me cry!! I go up to the receptionist where I was to get my ultrasound done at and she's looking at me funny cuz I have huge tears in my eyes! lol I felt like an oaf! haha
Then at Walmart AFTER Sophie's adventure we walked past the babies clothes and both my girls run to the tiny baby outfits and start picking them off the racks and saying, "See the tiny baby clothes? They're so cute!!" and showing me tiny booties and saying things like, "we want you to have a baby mommy! These are for the babies!"
It's driving me INSANE!!!!! lol

So yeah, there ya go. There was our day in a nutshell.

A Personal Blog About ME

So I wanted to write a blog a little bit about me and how I feel and stuff.

While growing up I didn't have many friends. I had a few and I loved them dearly and kept them as close as I can. Those friends were: Molly Hosmer, April, Kristin, Kathy & Karen Subashe, my cousins Emily Hegerhorst and Jeni Hegerhorst, and then later Trina Thompson. I had other good acquaintances and what-not, but no close friends. Especially when I was younger.
I was SO SO skinny that I used to be bullied by family and peers alike. It wasn't my fault and I didn't have an eating disorder. People hated me for it.

I was always made fun of, picked on, devided from everyone else, the brunt of everyone's joke, etc. It was really, really bad.
I was really shy and kept to myself for the most part. Whenever I did talk or laugh I got horribly dirty looks. It was really hard.

Then I moved to Lehi and went to American Fork High school and actually made lots of friends! It was great! I finally had a life and enjoyed it, too.
I was a very good girl. I never even kissed a boy (on purpose) until I was 19 years old!! lol!!

Then I got a scholarship to Utah Valley State College and did really well, except in Spanish! lol. I failed that and half-way through stopped going, esp after the teacher called me stupid in front of the entire class. That was the 2nd time I've been told that in front of a class. It's sooo humiliating and degrading!!

While in college I did Reserve Officer Training Corp which I LOVED LOVED LOVED!!!
I went from not being able to do ONE push-up to doing 200 a day!!! I'd do 100 every morning and 100 every night, EASY. I did 400 sit-ups a day, too.
I joined a community swim team and every morning got up at 4 and picked up one of my best friends, Dori Grange, and we'd go swimming for 2 1/2 hours STRAIGHT with no breaks. That was a great workout!
With another friend I did Kick-boxing and another martial art every other day. That was the best work-out ever!!
Then I went with another friend to the gym 1-2 times A DAY!!
I'd eat salads, donuts, rolls, mashed potatoes, and just plain ol' fiber and protein pastes (YUCK).
I was in SUPERB shape!
I could run up and down Provo canyon no problem at all and then jump into the damn with no breaks, swim out easily, and continue to run.
I could do over 20 pullups in a matter of seconds.
I could live off of only 4 hours of sleep a night and do all of this the next day!
I could go to a dance club allll night long and NEVER get tired at all! I'd dance NON-STOP, no sweat!
I was super flexible, had lots of energy, so much strength, and felt great!
I was doing a little bit of modeling here and there.

Then I got offered a HUGE opportunity!
I was offered to be one of the finalist auditioners to go to LA and audition for the future new hit TV show, Friends. Dead serious! I was told to tell NO ONE for a long time.
When I got my mission call I had to turn it down and my agent was FURIOUS. She yelled and yelled at me.
Then almost 100% of my friends turned their backs on me for deciding to serve a mission.
They'd ridicule me at school, at work, everywhere public and private. It was horrible, but it didn't sway me at all.
So I gave up all my dreams and went on a mission.

I was constantly exhausted on my mission and my periods were getting worse and worse and worse. I'm talking about EXTREME pain here.
Also before my mission I got infected with E-Coli, the BAD and very dangerous and deadly kind. I was the only case that year in the country let alone my state! I had state health dept calling me and the country's health dept calling me and this big ol' investigation made to find the source of my illness.
The pain was more than any I've ever felt. It was like childbirth but worse because the pain was constant.
I couldn't talk, walk, eat, drink or anything.
All my veins collapsed, I was severely dehydrated, and bleeding out of my bum and mouth.
I was hospitalized and the only thing they said they could do for me was drug me up and remove my large colon cuz it was so damaged.
I got a Priesthood blessing and my colon improved that very night so it was saved.
The Morphin I was on didn't make one bit of difference for the pain. I didn't even care if I was naked I hurt so bad.
The doc asked if there was anything he could do for me and I was DEAD SERIOUS when I whispered to him to gut me.
I broke my leg playing soccer and I would rather my worst enemy break both their legs than go through E-Coli!!
After my mission I got a cyst on my ovary caused by Endometriosis and it ruptured and I hemoraged for hours. Stupid doctors didn't help me. I should've gone to the ER.
I ended up having a D&C and then later a Laporoscopic surgery for the Endo.
Since then my health has steadily and increasingly gone down-hill drastically.

Both of my pregnancies were high risk. I almost lost both of them! I won't go into detail but it was very serious and I could NOT work or I'd lose my babies. hardly worth it don't ya think? lol.

I remained really skinny, even after having Lacie. Even while pregnant with Sophie.
I got really sick with Sophie and NOBODY believed me! for FIVE LOOONG MONTHS I was so super suffering. Nobody believed it and just kept saying it was just pregnancy pains. WHATEVER!
Finally after seeing like 8 doctors one referred me to a specialist and they got me right in.
I had Gall Bladder Inflammatory Disease. NOT caused by being over-weight like most cases, or by eating bad, like most cases, or by my age, like most cases. Mine was a VERY RARE case they said.
It was so severe they HAD to take it out while I was pregnant. It was deadly for both Sophie and I to not take it out ASAP.

After I had that out I gained so much weight!
We could never figure out why!
But my body was having a hard time digesting everything.

After that I got Hypothyroidism, which took like 1 1/2 years to figure out, severe Acid Reflux Disease. It was so bad that the acid would go up my throat and into my lungs! They say that pain is like having a serious heart attack. I can vouch for that! It was so severe that I couldn't even dial 911, which I tried to cuz I was sure I was dying.
Then Migraines came on. And more Endometriosis that's caused multiple problems.
And now a severe magnesium deficiency.
I've had mono at least twice now.
And a broken foot I walked on for 3 months without knowing it but suffereing silently. It's not permanantly damaged and hurts every single day of my life.
I got into a car accident that threw my back and pelvis out and broke my right hand, which they didn't believe the jerks.

Also due to family issues (I just have to say it because it's so true) and my health issues and financial issues, I got bad depression. Mostly from Post-Partum. It was so severe I won't even say how bad it was cuz it's just sad and embarrassing. I then got serious Anxiety issues, severe Insomnia, and some paranoyia.

I've been on many medications now.
My weight WILL NOT got down and I've been SO judged by it.

I've been severely exhausted.
I probably have heart disease and my doctor's all want me to get my heart checked but I've had so many other issues come up now that I just have been putting it off.

My teeth are rotting and in super pain but nobody even cares. I'm supposed to get at least one root canal. It's so bad it's given me this rotting stenchy breath!

My Neurologist says that my migraines, if they go untreated, WILL result in a stroke they're so bad and also due to my family medical history.
I have high cholesterole, too.

And now I, about 98% sure, have skin cancer. Not serious kind, but having it none-the-less is NOT cool! I have spots all over my face and head. ONe is growing rapidly and I'll be getting that removed on Monday.

This is NOT fun.

People wonder why I don't work and why I don't exercise and get thin again and seem so negative.
I really am very positive considering all of this and more that I've been through.

There's a reason for everything. And there's a reason for why I suffer through so much. I take it all in stride and I really believe I handle it very well considering.

I have been HARSHLY judged by friends, family and others alike. Still some hate me and stay away from me. They think I make things up or think that I'm a mean or bad person. It's like WHAT???? They do NOT know me at all.

One day all who have talked bad about me, thought bad about me, and treated me bad will regret it. That's a promise. I know in my heart that I am a very good and decent person and they're making mistakes.
Being rejected by family is the hardest, esp when they don't have good reasons, or if they just go by what others have said to them about me that are lies, exagerations, misinterpretations and misunderstandings.
I'm not talking about ONE family in particular, okay?

I'm a good mommy and a good wife and I love my family more than anything else in existence!! I nurture my children and my husband.
I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS give them compliments. Like all the time!! I'm very loving and passionate towards them and I listen to them.

I TRY AND DO MY ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!

I used to be so top-notch healthy and now look at me. And I'm blamed for it!!

How could anyone blame me for how I am now?? HOW?? It's NOT my fault but my calling in life, obviously.
I don't bring on these problems. They just come. Right after another, and on top of each other.

I now have pneumonia and I'm so exhausted, yet again!

I'm SO grateful for a husband who helps me out so much around the house and with the girls! He might lack compassion or understanding about 99% of the time (thanks to negative things said to him all the time about me), but he does take super good care of my babies and responsibilities around the house and even for me when I ask.

I really realy really hope that this crap will pass!
I'm seriously considering going back to school full-time to do R.O.T.C. again to kick my butt back but I'm afraid that it might kill me. I really am. I know something's wrong with my heart.
The constant pain and pressure I feel on a daily basis. The hard time breathing. The really heavy and hard pounding of my heart beats. The severe exhaustion and NEVER getting enough sleep!!
Even with my CPAP machine for my Sleep Apnea isn't good enough!!

My Sleep Apnea is really bad. I stop breathing from 10 second to over 1 minute at a time, and do this all night long.

I have SEVERELY disturbing and horrifying dreams every time I sleep so I HATE going to sleep.
I mean my dreams are GORRY and horrifying. Doesn't matter what I watch or what I listen to or anything. i've had them almost all my life, but they're getting worse and worse.

They don't scare me so much, they're just very disturbing and I don't understand why I have them.

I have serious anxiety when I have to go around ANY family at all pretty much because of the harsh judgments I've recieved and harsh things that have been said about me and to me. It's really not fair. It's hurt me.

But I am very forgiving and accepting and really really can love EVERYBODY sooooo easily!!
This is good and bad. Bad because it ALWAYS comes back and bites me in the butt! I'm too loving and caring and accepting and trusting.
I trust everyone and give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
Because of this I am constantly being hurt and disappointed and taken advantage of.

I've made a few bad decisions in my life like everyone else, but only ONE serious choice that I've had to pay the consequences to for years and probably for the rest of Eternity. But I know I've been forgiven.

because of what I've been through I will NEVER EVER EVER forsake the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know for SURE and complete CERTAINTY that it is God's church. I KNOW because of the things I've personally witnessed that are way too sacred to tell anyone except maybe my husband.

So no matter what goes on in my life, or what others say or think about me, or what happens with my health or anything, I know where I stand.
I know my God and his church come FIRST, my family SECOND, myself THIRD, my country FOURTH. And so on and on.

I wish so much that problems people have with me that they'd just LISTEN to me and get to know me by heart and know what type of person I am.
I wish they'd give me a CHANCE.
I'm a very rational, reasonable, and understanding person and am always filled with deep compassion for anyone.

I don't like it when people outright reject Jesus Christ and his Gospel and church, but I still will love everyone despite their beliefs. Even that crappy, dishonest, dark and misleading and lying and scary, evil scary, Obama.

I am very, very confident with my knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the church. And I am very VERy confident in my standing with my beliefs and morals and ideas, etc.

I feel so SO bad about how I've been physically. It really is so hard on me when I was SO out there with everything and in such perfect shape and form.
I've NEVER EVER been known to be lazy!
Now I've been told that people think I am because I don't go out and do Tyler's job at being the bread-maker or whatever you call it.
I've been told I'm lazy cuz my house isn't spotless and I'm not gone all day doing things, like working or whatever.
Poeple, if you only knew!!!!!!!!!

I know God does. And in the end that's ALL that matters.

Meantime my life goes on and I'm dealing with it the best way that I can.

I am NOT feeling sorry for myself. I am NOT seeking pity and attention.
I am NOT trying to embarrass anybody or make anythign worse.
I am NOT trying to pick a fight.
I am NOT whining!!

I'm just sharing and explaining.

I am very open and very sharing because I'm very trusting and believe it's BETTER to be open and honest about everything but that which is SACRED.
Anyway, that is another topic altogether!! lol

Okay, any questions? Comments? Whatever... please write them here on my blog, whoever you are.

Now back to chatting with Amy, one of my best friends

MeEeEee :)

So I went to the doctor today. I love my doctor! He's the best ever!! I've seen so many doctors and he's so smart and LISTENS and EXPLAINS things and is so good.
So I went today for this little bump/spot on my forehead. I had my brother in law look at it who's pretty much a P.A. now and he said to get it checked.
It's been buggin me and growing super super fast. Well, faster than I would expect a spot to grow. LOL!
It's not very big but it is very noticeable. It's reddish and very raised and growing out in two directions and it scabs over every other day and sometimes it itches. It's just really irritating and I don't like people looking at it. That bugs me.
Also I've had this nagging cough for a while now. Ever since I was really sick with Influenza.
Okay so he looked me over and said I have
Walking Pneumonia and I probably have Basal Cell Cancer.
Great, huh?
Yep, I, Lisa, get NO breaks where health stuff is concerned!
So I have a couple of medications to take for the Pneumonia. One is an antibiotic and the other is a cold medicine to help me sleep at night.
And on Monday I go back to have this spot/bump taken off my face and biopsied to be sure that's what it is, though the doc is like 98% sure it is.
I also have a
Magnesium deficiency, probably, that's been causing my paralysis and muscle spasms and contractions, weakness and delayed relaxation. So I have to take Magnesium. Not a biggie, just another pill to add to my daily stash. hahaha!!
So read the links I inserted here to know what these are exactly and they'll explain it pretty good.
Love to you all! Oh, and I am NOT having a pity party.

Prophesy or Deja Vu?

I recommend everyone reading this article by Pat Dollard, author,
professor and historian.

Prophesy or Deja vu
by Pat Dollard

I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books in
six languages, and have studied it all my life. I think there is
something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a
banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these
exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that
is only now coming into a sharper focus.

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I
know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to
it.

Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening
within our country that has been evolving for about ten - fifteen years.
The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make
massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?

We learn just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no
real oversight by anyone, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that is
$2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to
whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine.
And that is three times the $700B we all argued about so strenuously
just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why
are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I
thought this was a government of "we the people," who loaned our powers
to our elected leaders. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our
economy. Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and
no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why
we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think
critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are
not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election
(now violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial
that it wants marriage to remain between one man and one woman. Did you
ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago? We have corrupted
our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws
that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist
groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana
republic. To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free
fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge
of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and our
entire government, our education system is worse than a joke (I teach
college and know precisely what I am talking about) - the list is
staggering in its length, breadth, and depth. It is potentially 1929 x
ten. And we are at war with an enemy we cannot name for fear of
offending people of the same religion, who cannot wait to slit the
throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And now we have elected a man no one knows anything about, who has never
run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla,
Alaska. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in
their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him,
drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have
heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian
defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No?
Oh of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and
then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and $150,000
wardrobe is more important.) Five (and counting) sitting members of his
cabinet are recently convicted (or admitted) tax cheats!

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am
now. This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has
never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will
divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to
realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is
indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation
again. And that is only the beginning.

And I thought I would never be able to experience what the ordinary,
moral German felt in the mid-1930's. In those times, the savior was a
former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the
average German knew next to nothing. What they did know was that he was
associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people
with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage
through great oratory. Conservative "losers" read it right now.

And promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he
was a great speaker. And he smiled and waved a lot. And people, even
newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his "brown shirts"
would bully them into submission. And then, he was duly elected to
office, a full-throttled economic crisis at hand [the Great Depression].
Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department
by department, person by person, bureaucracy by bureaucracy.

The kids joined a Youth Movement in his name, where they were taught
what to think. How did he get the people on his side? He did it
promising jobs to the jobless, money to the money less, and goodies for
the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the
children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages,
better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the
country, across Europe, and across the world.

He did it with a compliant media - did you know that? And he did this
all in the name of justice and.... change. And the people surely got
what they voted for. (Look it up if you think I am exaggerating.) Read
your history books. Many people objected in 1933 and were shouted down,
called names, laughed at, and made fun of. When Winston Churchill
pointed out the obvious in the late 1930's while seated in the House of
Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his
seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though.

Don't forget that Germany was the most educated, cultured country in
Europe. It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and
universities. And in less than six years ~ a shorter time span than just
two terms of the U. S. presidency - it was rounding up its own citizens,
killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents,
and neighbors against neighbors. All with the best of intentions, of
course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I
have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of
evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can
believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven
decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another
latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me.

Some people scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or
both. Perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the
eye and tell them exactly what I believe ~ and why I believe it. I pray
I am wrong.

I do not think I am.

God Bless,

We Need A Miracle and Got One!!!!

So Tyler and I decided that a fast would be a good thing to do for our situation since we could see no other alternatives to our situation.
We'd contacted those who we could and tried to do what we could and nothing worked out.
We had to pay 600.00 for our truck TODAY in order to not get it repossessed like our poor little car (that I miss terribly. It was like losing one of the family lol).
This morning Tyler got up really early and went to school to figure out why his school was charging him right now, every month, and why he didn't get the discount for his dad going to school there, too, and check on other financial aid issues.
Luckily he talked to a lady there who knew what she was doing and fixed Tyler's financial aid and credited us 5,000.00!! And took off all the late payments we've had and deferred his loans until July and then when we get to that point they'll probably be able to defer it another 6 months.
Cool eh???
Well, then that super rude chick from America First Credit Union called Tyler and said, "where's the money? You have until 6:00pm tonight to get it here". Tyler said, "let me talk to your supervisor or manager". So he talked to the manager at their collections dept and told her our situation.
Said he'd just lost his job, this was our only vehicle, we couldn't buy another one, and we wouldn't have a way to get another job let alone have a way to get there without the truck. So anyway, she understood and after Tyler said we want to pay them and want to make this work but give us a chance. So she did. WOW she did! We only have to pay 400.00 by Tuesday instead and then they'll work with us for the rest and let us continue regular payments. THANK GOODNESS!!!
Tyler was incredibly relieved and on cloud 9 when he came home. I have missed him like that.
Then the mail came.
Tyler brought the mail to me with a big smile on his face. One letter was from his previous employer, Gunther's Comfort Air in American Fork. There was a check inside.
He read a letter that explained that there are certain employees that have been there a long while and work hard and Tyler was one of them.
So Tyler got a check from them for 300.00!!!! It was part of his Profit Sharing that they were NOT going to give out this year.
So here's what we think.
Blaine, his boss and owner, felt so bad about having to lay Tyler off and when he found out our car had been repossessed and I wasn't working he felt worse. His direct boss, Lance, also knew about our circumstances and the laying off was a complete shock. And he was getting a Profit Sharing. Only the Project Managers were getting them. So we think the two of them talked and decided to give Tyler a cut from Lance's Profit Sharing check.
So we were saved!!!!

We'd had a talk last night about our situation and know that God will bless us more when we're being obedient. Honestly, we haven't been that obedient. Nothing too serious for being temple recommend holders, but they were sins of omission, which can be more devastating than anything at all. It has deep spiritual consequences that can cause any strong member of God's church to lose his faith and slowly but surely fall away.
God wants to bless us but CANNOT when we are not obedient. It's just as simple as that. He is bound when we do what he says but when we don't we have no promise.
This is a trial of our faith, pure and simple.
We started the fast with prayer. It was our last resort.
And our prayer and fast was answered. We believe it was a miracle. Pure and simple. And we feel so much relief!!

An Update & Some Thoughts

So I didn't get the job at Convergys. Tyler and I both had a feeling that it wouldn't happen. I gave it my best and my all, but they chose another candidate. I just don't have Excel 100% down. I think I sucked on that part of the test lol.
Tyler's also been turned down for a LOT of jobs he's applied for. We've both applied for countless jobs already!! They all want SPECIFIC skills and stuff and some of it was just do not have. And the skills we do have the job had just been filled! Just bad timing.
So we are having a yard sale tomorrow at our place. We're selling our entire bedroom set, dining set, some shelves, a TV stand, a crib, clothes, vases, magnet board I made (it's so nice. I'll miss it), a printer, DVD rack that cost a lot, an amp, and more! I just think this is absolutely necessary. We have no other choice.
Even if either of us or both of us got a job right now it wouldn't be in time to pay the 1200.00 our bank wants. They'll repossess our truck next week and then sue us for everything we have, they said.
We really are in a bad spot. I know some people just don't believe that or realize that. It's the worst I've ever seen personally, at one time.
No money for food or gas, no money for phones, utilities, rent, internet, NOTHING. We HAVE to have internet for Tyler's school. And Tyler quitting school right now is NOT an option. He's on the Dean's List and is doing so well! With this schooling he'll be able to get valuable certificates to hopefully work at a hospital or doctor's office soon. That's his goal, anyway.
Getting a job that pays more than State benefits allow will screw us!! The only way we can survive is if Tyler or I are making a lot more than what we were making before. People don't seem to understand that.
They really don't.
We have THOUSANDS of dollars in medical debt that they all want paid immediately!! We've been sued FOUR TIMES in a month's time!!! Threatened to be sued two more times right now. 1 by the bank. The other Mountainland Collections. So yeah. We can't do it. We just can't.

Here's what we've been hoping for and planning for and working for:
Tyler and I are looking for part-time jobs for both of us. Not paying too much so that we can still get State benefits. It seems the wisest route for us for right now. Then we'll get on Housing (Section 8) in about 8-18 months. That'll help sooo much! Tyler will get certificates in 2-4 months that'll help him get a better job.
We're going to go to his school and speak with Financial Aid and see if we can't get more student loans to pay for our medical debt. We really don't know what else to do. Like paying 50.00 a month to like 25 different places is a LOT of money, ya know? But that's what they all want, or full payment, or they'll sue us. Get it?
Our bishop is offering absolutely NO help at all. Not for food or anything. I think he has the wrong opinion of us so we're going to meet with him on Sunday and explain to him EXACTLY what's going on.
I'm really tired of being misunderstood and misjudged by people who should understand.
You take one look at our situation and you automatically think, "they must be doing something wrong or did something wrong".
People have looked at my parents this same way.
It's just not right, period.
Some people CANNOT help their situation, no matter what!

Anyway, we're doing the best we can to better our circumstances and working hard to get ourselves into a better circumstance. I know there are MANY who are in much better circumstances than our own and what they're doing is more important than what we need. And still people judge others who struggle, like us.

"For behold, ye do love money and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted"
-Mormon 8:37

"But wo unto the rich, who are rich as to the things of the world. For because they are rich they despise the poor, and they persecute the meek, and their hearts are upon their treasures; wherefore, their treasure is their god. And behold, their treasure shall perish with them also."
-2 Nephi 9:30

"And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you - that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sings from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God - I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor, every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and administering to their relief, both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants."
-Mosiah 4:26

AND THEN THE MOST POINTED, STRONG AND UNMISTAKABLE SCRIPTURES OF ALL on this subject:
"And also, ye yourselves will succor those that stand in need of your succor; ye will administer of your substance unto him that standeth in need; and ye will not suffer that the beggar putteth up his petition to you in vain, and turn him out to perish.
"PERHAPS THOU SHALT SAY: THE MAN HAS BROUGHT UPON HIMSELF HIS MISERY; THEREFORE I WILL STAY MY HAND, AND WILL NOT GIVE UNTO HIM OF MY FOOD, NOR IMPART UNTO HIM OF MY SUBSTANCE THAT HE MAY NOT SUFFER, FOR HIS PUNISHMENTS ARE JUST -
"But I say unto you, O man, whosever doeth this the same hath great cause to repent; and except he repenteth of that which he hath done he perisheth forever, and hath no interest in the kingdon of God.
"For behold, ARE WE NOT ALL BEGGARS? Do we not all depend upon the same Being, even God, for all the substance which we have, for both food and raiment, and gold, and for silver, and for all the riches we have of every kind?
"And now, if God, who has created you, ON WHOM YOU ARE DEPENDENT FOR YOUR LIVES AND FOR ALL THAT YE HAVE AND ARE, doth grant unto you whatsoever ye ask that is right, in faith, believing that ye shall receive, O then, how ye ought to impart of the substance that ye have one to another.
"AND IF YE JUDGE THE MAN WHO PUTTETH UP HIS PETITION TO YOU FOR YOUR SUBSTANCE TAHT HE PERISH NOT, AND CONDEMN HIM, HOW MUCH MORE JUST WILL BE YOUR CONDEMNATION FOR WITHHOLDING YOUR SUBSTANCE, WHICH DOTH NOT BELONG TO YOU BUT TO GOD, TO WHOM ALSO YOUR LIFE BELONGETH; AND YET YE PUT UP NO PETITION, NOR REPENT OF THE THING WHICH THOU HAST DONE.
"I say unto you, wo be unto that man, for his substance shall perish with him; and now, I say these things unto those who are rich as pertaining to the things of this world."
Mosiah 4:16-19, 21-23

These are scriptures from God. I don't care what or who you believe in, these are true and good things that we should follow.
I know I was raised to believe and feel this way, especially since I was raised in such a poor home with caring parents who did everything they could to provide for us.
I was also shown what it's like to have very rich people surround me and my family who will not help except conditionally. They loan things. And then expect repayment and sometimes even with interest attached. How is that charitable? How is that what Heavenly Father would want for us to do to each other? How can you feel right about doing that, especially if it's family??

How can you watch people suffer so much and say "it's their fault, they shouldn't have boughten that car" or "they did it to themselves, she should've been working to help instead of staying home with their children, so it's their fault" or "they just want attention and an easy way out" or "they're only going to go spend it on something stupid, like go out to eat or alcohol or to pay for that new couch they have".

How do you KNOW that?

And it's not up to you to judge to whom your money goes to with all these conditions. If someone NEEDS it GIVE IT!!

I hate hearing people, especially Christian's, say, "That beggar is a worthless SOB. He's just a lazy drunk and probably makes more than I do" and then walk on by him and ignore him while he sits in the dirty street with a sign or a cup, imploring our help.

My husband and I, and my family, have always been charitable to give to others, even if it's all we had in our pockets to give, we still give it. We know what it's like to be poor and needy! We're here right now!!!

I also remember that story from the Bible that says that lady who gave her two coins and it was ALL she had. It was worth far less than what others were giving, but to God it was worth waaaaay more than what the others were giving because it was all she had!! The other wealthier people only gave some change pretty much, in comparison to their incomes or posessions.

You know, until you know exactly what is going on in people's lives and with their circumstances and especially what's in their hearts and minds, then don't judge them! Don't think or say to yourself that they deserve it or ask for it or NEED it or this is "their learning time" and leave them alone thinking they'll work it out or they deserve it for their choices they've made or whatever!!!

How do you justify that?

Anyway, there you go. I have much deeper thoughts about this and can be sooo much bolder with it in my opinions and thoughts.

I've seen too much to be ignorant on this topic.

okay, back to our life.
Here's to hoping God has mercy on us before we end up homeless.
